State-wide support

Twenty10 is a NSW-wide service. You can call our free rural support line to find out information and to connect with a local service.

Living in a regional area can feel isolating and, at times, unsafe. There are supportive places that you can go to, but it is just a matter of finding where they are. Twenty10 will work with you to find these places. We think it is best to find what supports are local before you consider moving into a city.

Twenty10 is also a confidential service. We may ask for your postcode, but you don't have to tell us your name if you don't want to. Our workers can explain what information me may need and what happens to it.

GLCS provide free telephone counselling, referrals and support groups for GLBT people and their families on matters of sexuality and life issues. The phone line is open 5:30pm-10:30pm 7 days a week.

Youth Emergency Accommodation Line (YEAL)
YEAL provides a simple way for young people (under 18) to find a safe place to sleep for the night. You can check their daily updated lists on their website or call the hotline.

Homeless Persons Information Centre (HPIC)
HPIC is the telephone information and referral service that refers people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, to the services that may assist them. The service is provided by the City of Sydney.
