Good news for folks who have been joining us on hangOUT – we’re going to be online more often!
hangOUT is our Discord chat server for LGBTIQA+ folks aged 13-25. We’ve been running sessions every fortnight, and our most common request is to have the server open more often – so we’re opening up two additional sessions every fortnight starting from Wednesday September 9!
Here’s how it will work:

- Wednesday fortnightly hangOUTs will continue as usual from 4pm – 6pm.
- Every other week, Tuesday hangOUTs from 3:30pm – 5pm will be health and support focused, and we will be inviting our partners at Kirketon Road Centre and Burton Street Centre to come along and provide health related advice, information and activities.
- That same week, we’ll be adding a Friday session. Friday hangOUTs will be purely social, similar to the current Wednesday sessions. However, on Friday sessions we would love for young folks to lead activities with us, such as workshops or skills shares, or similar. Send an email if you have an activity you’d like to lead.
