To celebrate a year at the Inner West Pride Centre, we hosted a housewarming!

We’ve felt so much love and warmth from the community in the year we’ve been at the Inner West Pride Centre on beautiful Wangal and Gadigal land – and the weather certainly got the memo! 

Braving near 40 degree heat on Saturday 6 Dec 2025, we had a beautiful time celebrating, commemorating, and cheering on the wins, progress, and ongoing resilience of our LGBTIQA+ communities, surrounded by all folks who have been part of the Twenty10 family in various ways. From Peter De Waal, Sydney queer icon who spearheaded the Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service (previously known as CAMP), to long-time friend of the organisation MP Jenny Leong, to Bianca Lubke a pioneer Twenty10 Queerleader, we heard stories of how Twenty10 has impacted countless lives, and the joy and hope that the Pride Centre offers.

The gorgeous Etcetera Etcetera and GoGo helped welcome everyone into the Pride Centre to the tunes from DJ Thaen, and upstairs we heard soulfune tunes from Luella Asha and Brendan Maclean, as well as a dance performance from Fetu Taku.

And Aunty Wombat kept our bellies full with the most delicious spread!
