Twenty10 is proud to provide a series of affirming and inclusive social spaces for young LGBTIQA+ people. Our programs include regular in person groups and sessions, a private online space, and exclusive access to community events.
All of our groups follow our Safer Space Guidelines, so that everyone feels included and safe, both physically and emotionally.

Drop In (Ages 12 – 25)
Our regular monthly Drop In program is going on pause for the next few months, and will return later in 2024. Keep an eye on our socials or the What’s On calendar to stay updated!
An inclusive space for young folks to hang out and connect socially with others, or to seek support from a Twenty10 worker.
- Who can come? Any aged 12-25
- Format: An informal social space
- When: Once a month on Saturday, 12PM-3PM
- Where: Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW, 37 Shepherd St, Chippendale (cnr Rose St)
- Cost: FREE!
- Accessibility: The space it is held in is wheelchair accessible, but there is no accessible toilet (toilet is up a step).
- RSVP: None, just show up!
What Happens?
Drop in is a relaxed and informal space to hang out and connect with others. While here, you can have something to eat or drink, meet other young folks, watch a film or play a game, connect with a Twenty10 worker – or simply have some time out to yourself. Sometimes we run activities or workshops, which you’re always free to join if you wish!
OUTwest (Ages 12 – 18 & 18-25)
An inclusive weekly group, for young folks to hang out and connect socially with others, or to seek support from a Twenty10 worker.
- Who can come? Anyone 12 – 25 who is LGBTIQA+, with alternating age groups (12-18 & 18-25). See our calendar on our home page for upcoming dates.
- Format: An informal social space
- When: Wednesdays (weekly) 5PM-7PM, age groups alternating.
- Where: headpace Parramatta, 2 Wentworth St, Parramatta NSW 2150
- Accessibility: Our group space and bathroom at headspace Parramatta are wheelchair accessible.
- RSVP: None, just show up!
What Happens?
Outwest is a relaxed and informal space to hang out and connect with others. While here, you can have something to eat or drink, meet other young folks, watch a film or play a game, connect with a Twenty10 worker – or simply have some time out to yourself. Sometimes we run activities or workshops, which you’re always free to join if you wish!
hangOUT (Ages 13-17 & 18-25)
hangOUT is our Discord group for folks aged 13-25! We meet every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm.

- Who can come? Anyone 13-25 across NSW, is welcome. Age ranges alternate weekly (13-17 and 18-25). See our calendar for upcoming dates.
- Format: An informal online space, operating similarly to a chat forum. Sometimes we open streaming/voice capabilities, but usually our group is text/chat based.
- When: Tuesdays (weekly) 4PM-6PM
- Where: Twenty10’s private hangOUT Discord Server
- Accessibility: Our aim is to provide an online space that is inclusive and accessible for all participants, and their various needs. Contact us for more information.
What’s Discord?
Discord is an online platform, which is accessible via a smart phone, tablet or computer. Twenty10 has created our own private Discord server (or online space), which we moderate for young LGBTIQA+ folks across NSW.
Want to join us?
We have a strict intake process for our online space, to ensure that it is exclusively for young folks from NSW. To join us, email hangout@twenty10.org.au and follow the instructions listed on our auto-response.
These steps include filling out an online form and then completing a quick video call with one of our staff members via our private intake server. Once this is done – you’re free to join us!
