Twenty10 provides short term counselling and care coordination support for young people experiencing or have experiences of family, domestic or sexual(ised) violence. Our counsellors provide trauma-informed and intervention supports for young LGBTIQA+ people aged 12-25 across NSW, focusing on building safety through health, education, financial, legal, and social supports.
Our service is free to access in person or using telehealth.
You do not need to be an Australian Citizen or have a Medicare card to be eligible.
We initially plan for 10-12 weeks of support, and can extend as needed.
On this page:

Twenty10 is committed to a human rights-based approach in providing support. We provide free in-person and telehealth counselling for young people aged 12-15 with carer/guardian consent and 16-25 accessing as independents.
We recognise that certain communities face significant disadvantages and unequal opportunities compared to more privileged groups. We prioritise making our services accessible to young people who encounter barriers such as:
- Family breakdown
- Housing and financial instability
- Safety
- Community isolation
- Geographical challenges to accessing support
When accepting referrals, we consider these factors alongside our ability to provide the necessary support. For more information about how we work and your rights and responsibilities when accessing Twenty10 services click here.

Connecting with FDSV Support Service
- To make an enquiry head to Twenty10’s Contact Us page. If you’re enquiring on behalf of someone else, please ensure you have their consent before sharing any private details.
- Our Intake & Referral Coordinator will contact you to discuss your/their situation and needs and help make a referral if they think Twenty10’s FDSV support service could be a good fit.
- The referral will be discussed at the weekly client services meeting and a counsellor will be in touch if they think our service will be a good fit.
- If our counsellors are unable to provide the right support or we think another option would be a better fit, we will provide suggestions of other counselling or mental health supports.
We are able to provide resource suggestions and advice to other counsellors, schools, and workers in regional and rural areas. Please contact us to get in touch with a client services officer.
We also offer inclusivity training & consultation services for practitioners and services looking to learn how to best support LGBTIQA+ people in your work.
